Synodical Convention - 2

...wherefore we pray God Almighty to have mercy...

Well, I dropped Ben off at the airport and made it home safe and sound. The kids were awake in the car the whole time but they went right back to bed without a fuss when we got home. Yesterday we went out to lunch, checked out a couple stores, and the kids played at the playgrounds in town. It was a fun day.

Today we had a pastor "filling in" while Ben is gone. It's interesting how attached children become to their pastor. Evelyn didn't like the idea of a different pastor being in our church. She wasn't the only kid that had reservations, though. Another little girl told her mother that she didn't want to be blessed by the other pastor since he wasn't her pastor. I don't know whether it's here or there - just interesting.

Ben just called and said they are going to be voting for president after lunch today.
Lord have mercy.

Just shows how strongly people feel about their pastors - kids and adults alike. We have an adult member who is moving to another town but refuses to move her membership - Hubby is her pastor, and this is her church... did your hubby make it home safely? We got home last night.

Yes, he made it back, although there was a delay in his flight. Glad to see you're back safe also!
