Phos Hilaron


Last night we were praying Evening Prayer over at the White Church. When we came to the Phos Hilaron, Dominic started to sing along. It made me smile so big that I could hardly sing it myself!

"I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth." - 3 John, 4

Is there any greater joy for a parent than to hear their children singing the liturgy? I don't think so.

It always chokes me up a little.
