Duluth

We had a nice time in Duluth. We walked around the Lake Walk on Lake Superior and the kids even had a chance to get their feet (and a little more) wet in the lake. There were a lot of neat stores and art galleries filled with local art. We got to see the Aerial Lift Bridge go up to let a ship through. The kids were impressed with the freighter but not it's air horn which had them jumping and covering their ears. We went to the Great Lakes Aquarium. They had a sea horse exhibit and lots of activities for the kids to interact with - they even got to touch a sturgeon. I think it was a big hit with the kids, only out-weighed by getting wet in the lake! The kids also got to play on the playscape playground near the aquarium. It was all very fun and just what we needed! We are looking forward to when we can go back to see Grammy and Papa again.

On another topic, today is another shot for all of us - it's so hard for Evelyn and Dominic who really can't quite grasp the great importance of getting so many shots. Dear friends, please keep us in your prayers.

Keeping you in our prayers. Glad you were able to travel to Duluth. Enjoy the children. Ours are now out of the house which is very quiet now. We now travel to "visit" them and spend the rest of the time planning for the holidays. Each "stage" of your children's development will have its own challenges and blessings. Enjoy and charish these days! And for the time being thank the Lord that they are not yet in middle school!
Blessings -
