Birthday Pictures

Dominic just had his fifth birthday this past Friday, which was also St. John Chrysostom's feast day. I thought I would show off some pictures (click to enlarge) of the kids on their birthdays since they are both a year older now. Dominic's "army" cake had green army men, a dugout with a flag, barbed wire fences and trees and Evelyn's "husky" cake had two husky puppy dogs and an igloo I made out of a Hostess Snowball and marshmallows. They had two parties each, one on both sides of the family. It was a very nice change from having no family around to celebrate their birthdays. Unfortunately they both have gotten sick after their birthday. Evelyn had pinkeye and is over it now. Dominic currently has an ear infection and pinkeye. Keep us in your prayers for health and for taking medicine easily!
