The Doors, the Doors!!

It's been another two weeks since the last update. Time for some new pictures of the progress at St. John Chrysostom Orthodox Church in Fort Wayne.

Doors everywhere! And they're actually attached to the walls. Beautiful wood trim outlines the hallway that will lead from the church to the fellowship hall.

A little espionage. Quick, take a picture of the plans then sneak out of the building without being seen. This blog will self-destruct in ten seconds...

The wood gets a reddish stain. I can't wait to see it with a nice glossy finish. The window cut outs now have a cross shape - panes of glass to be installed later. Even a bit of paint on the walls!

Bending wood for the archways. Looks very pretty and sculptural in the light.

That is gorgeous! If we're even up in that area again, we'll have to make a trip to your parish. (My husband and I went to Indiana Wesleyan- just an hour south of Fort Wayne). Blessings!

That would be neat if you did get a chance to visit. Let me know ahead of time and maybe we could meet up. (We don't live in FW, we live in Ohio so we would need a good head's up to meet!)
Love in Christ!
