First House Blessing
We will be having our first house blessing sometime soon. Being our first, I'm not sure what to expect. I've gathered a few clues from looking at Orthodox resources on the internet, but then again, jurisdictions seem to have slight differences. I will have to ask our priest what he needs us to have ready when he comes.
Otherwise, I'm trying to get our little apartment cleaned, things put away, and looking presentable. We still have a few things that need hanging up since we moved in, and there's more Christmas stuff to put away too.

I agree, go with your priest's guidance. I have always been told to have a small bowl, a candle, matches, your jar of Holy Water, and a list of those in your family set together to be ready.
