Is it Too Soon?

Is it too soon to be thinking about a green garden?

 The rake still has a blanket of snow tucked over it's tines

waiting for the earth to unharden.

Too soon to think about watering tiny green sprouts?

When the water sits frozen above

rather than pours from the spout?

 

Too soon to think about a cool shady seat in the warm sunlight?

A place to doze and dream and love

in Spring's dappled green bright?
