Wildflowers Along the Trail
Yellow Pond Lily
I have really been enjoying walking on the trail near our house. It is part of a state park so there are lots of native wildflowers that grow alongside of the path. It is neat to see which ones bloom the earliest and which ones spring up in their wake.
Long Spurred Violet
Early Blue Violet
Yellow Rocket
Yellow Goatsbeard
White Campion
Downy Phlox
Hoary Alyssum
Cardamine Hirsuta
Pink Honeysuckle
Blackhaw Viburnum
The kids picked some Phlox and Yellow Rocket to make a pretty bouquet!
