Monastery in Williamston

This morning Facebook suggested that I might like an article from the Lansing State Journal and I was happily surprised to see it was about Monk Romanos. The LSJ has both a photo journalism article here and a video documentary/interview here. (The pictures above are stills of LSJ's video and not my own photos.)

Monk Romanos is the lead chanter at our church so we are very blessed to know him. He is a very kind, humble, and patient man as evidenced by the fact that he lovingly endures being plied with constant riddles from Evelyn and Dominic. I think they save up riddles for him to solve all week just so they might receive his gentle admiration.
