St. Nicholas left treats for the kids under the small Christmas tree by our icon corner. Leo was pretty amazed by it all in stages - first, he was delighted in finding the candy canes, and then the orange which needed to be tossed like a ball, and then the Nativity ornament, and finally he found the gold coins. Once he realized the coins had chocolate in them he loved those too!
His ornament has the Nativity made out of little peg dolls. He has a fondness for the little nun peg dolls that I had gotten from Holy Dormition. It goes without saying that they needed to be played with all together! You can see how the nuns visited the baby Jesus below!
